BetCRIS baseball sportsbook winners and losers are official after 5 innings of play unless the home team is leading after 4-½ innings. If a baseball game is called or suspended, the score after the last full inning determines the winner. If the home team scores to tie - or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning - the score at the time the game is called determines the winner. Monies will be refunded if the home team ties the game and it is then suspended. Baseball events will not carry over to the following day (unless otherwise specified). BetCRIS does not recognize suspended baseball games, protests, overturned decisions, etc. for wagering purposes.

When online sportsbook baseball wagering on the total runs (over/under) the baseball game must go 9 innings (8-½ if the home team is ahead) to have action. BetCRIS baseball wagers on total runs will be refunded if a pitcher change occurs prior to both listed pitchers throwing at least one pitch. BetCRIS baseball rules for the run line wagers are the same as those for baseball totals.

Internet Sportsbook Pitcher Selection

Baseball wagers will be accepted in the following manner by BetCRIS sportsbook:

• Action: Team against team, regardless of the starting pitcher. "Action" wagers will be computed by the opening price with the new pitcher. A pitcher is deemed a starting pitcher after throwing one pitch.
• One specified pitcher: A BetCRIS sportsbook wager on or against a specified pitcher, regardless of the starting pitcher.
• Both specified pitchers (listed): If starting pitchers are not exactly as listed on the BetCRIS wagering display board and/or your ticket, your wager will be deemed "no action.”
  
  Note: If there is a pitching change prior to the baseball game, money odds may be adjusted. If one scheduled pitcher starts against any unscheduled pitcher, "action" wagers will be computed by the opening price with the new pitcher. A pitcher is deemed a starting pitcher after throwing one pitch.

Sportsbook Baseball Series, Half Wagers and Other Rules

BetCRIS online sportsbook wagers on baseball series are based on the FIRST 3 GAMES PLAYED of each series. Neither baseball team can play another opponent between scheduled baseball games. If one of the first three baseball games gets postponed, all wagers stand (ACTION). If less than 3 baseball games are played, the baseball team with the advantage is the winner of the series. All BetCRIS baseball wagers are based on action (no listed pitchers).

MLB - First Halfs: BetCRIS baseball wagers are based on the score in the first 5 FULL INNINGS. If after the first 5 full innings the baseball game is not completed, all BetCRIS baseball wagers on the first half will still stand. All BetCRIS baseball wagers are based on listed pitchers.

MLB - Second Halfs : BetCRIS baseball wagers are based on the score from the top of the 6th inning till the end of the baseball game. Must be a complete baseball game (i.e. 9 innings or 8-½ innings if the home team is ahead). BetCRIS baseball wagers include extra innings. All BetCRIS baseball wagers are action, regardless of pitcher.

Total Hits, Runs and Errors: Has to be a full baseball game - 9 innings to have action (8-½ if the home team is ahead). All BetCRIS baseball wagers are based on listed pitchers.

Team to Score First: First team to score in the game. If there is a result and the baseball game is canceled or postponed, all BetCRIS baseball wagers stand, regardless of how many innings played.

Team to Score Last: Has to be an official game.

Will There be a Run Scored in the First Inning: If a run gets scored in the first inning and the baseball game is canceled or postponed, all BetCRIS baseball wagers stand. If the first inning is complete and no run was scored and the baseball game is canceled or postponed, all BetCRIS baseball wagers stand.

Strikeouts by Pitcher: The individual pitcher wagered on must start the baseball game (i.e. 1 pitch thrown). The other listed pitcher does not have to start the baseball game. In case the baseball game gets suspended before 5 full innings are played, all BetCRIS baseball wagers on Strikeouts by pitcher will be cancelled, regardless of the status of the pitcher in the game.

Strikeouts by Team: In case the baseball game gets suspended before 5 full innings are played, all BetCRIS baseball wagers on Strikeouts by baseball team will be cancelled. If a match is shortened before completion but after 5 innings, then the strikeouts are only recorded to the last full innings; eg, A Match is called after 7.5 innings, all strikeouts will be recorded only after 7 full innings.

Baseball Team Total: Has to be a full 9 innings to have action. (8-½ if the home team is ahead). All BetCRIS baseball sportsbook wagers are based on listed pitchers. 2-1/2 Runlines/Alternative Runlines and Team to have more home runs - All BetCRIS baseball wagers are based on listed pitchers. Baseball game must go at least 8-1/2 innings if the home team is winning, otherwise match must be fully completed.
